Looks female to me to, by the gradual slope of the profile, although your photos are much too dark to see other clues.
"Alpha Males" have a steep profile
females don't
Although if you have any other more dominant cichlids in the tank, a male could feign a female look, as far as profile goes.
If you could get better pics(lighter, less blue) gender differences may be more telling, there are certain color pattern that help diagnose, that I am unable to see in your pics.
