Hello,
In the past few weeks I put a young Texas in my 55G tank with my Blood Parrot and Geophagus Brasilianus. The Geo is about 3 inches long and the parrot is probably slightly longer and a big chunk in general. The Texas on the other hand is I'd say less than an inch in length if that, so it's a very young fish. When I first got it it was completely black, now it is half white, half black. Directly cut down the middle with this distinction. It follows the Parrot around constantly, only separating on occasion. It doesn't flare its mouth or nip, just follows. I've also on occasion seen it shake a little bit, and do what they call 'flashing' on the floor of the tank. This fish is so young so it has lead me to question its actions. I've looked the fish over closely and it has clean fins and a clean body. No signs of bumps, white spots etc. Clean fish, just a weirdo. Any suggestions?
Thanks
