shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
my Redtailed cat ate my green terror while i was away for a few days, and i found a texas cichlid in a pet store who is a little bigger. my question is, even though this fish can fit in the catfishes mouth, is its aggresiveness enough to keep the catfish at bay? the one i saw kept pulling a smaller red devil out from under a rock and eating it alive, and the red devil kept hiding to escape, but the texas kept pulling it back out to eat it

no, doesn't matter how aggressive the fish is, if it fits in the catfishes mouth its going to eat it.

Heres some personal experience for you. 22" TSN and a 10" blue channel cat.

he died eating it. If you want a tankmate for him get something big.

I'm not sure, but the Texas Cichlid is a shy fish and likes to hide a lot...They are aggressive though.

If a cat can get it in its mouth, it is potential food.

One night it will disappear.
