My pair just spawned recently and I noticed that some of the eggs are turning white. When my angels spawned, the parents always removed them but my texas pair aren't doing it. Is there a need to remove the eggs myself? (there's like 15 of 250) They're onto day 3 now since they spawned and this is their first spawn.

By the way, what does changing to a white color tell? Is it that the eggs just failed to fertilize, infection of some sort, unfavorable water conditions, temperature's too high, or something else?

Thanks in advance.

the white color indicates the eggs were not fertilized, theres no need for you to take them off, they'll eventually fall off if not eaten
wouldn't want to disturb the other eggs

however..if they start to fungus i would probably remove them with a toothpick or something similar, so they dont infect the other eggs
