Texas cichlids illegal in Louisiana?

I recently heard a rumor that it is illegal to own Texas cichlids in the state if Louisiana. I know we have feral populations around New Orleans and LSU lakes, but is it really illegal to own them?

Did you see them listed in the restricted species lists in the Marketplace stickies?

I just checked the list. The Rio Grande (Texas) cichlid is indeed on LAs banned list. You cannot own them in your state.
