Texas Cichlids spawn

Hi Everyone,

my texs are spawning but the male is cynoguttatus and female carpintis, alsothe male is right next to the female but is pecking at the eggs ??? does the male fertilise after all eggs are layed or as? as the male has not touched em yet and im thinknin he is nor gonna fertilise :s

If you cull properly you will end up with big head texas cichlids with that cross.

honest? well, the eggs have been eaten but they are a pair so i'll look forward to seeing them beed nxt time, but i watched them spawn and observed colours so i will now know what to look for

but on a plus i had a really good expeirience watching them spawn and am happy lloll
