Texas compatibility...

How aggressive are texas cichlids? Can they be kept with other central americans and an arowana in a 180 without too much fighting? There's a few nice looking ones at one of my LFS, debating whether i should buy one or not...

Medium on the aggression scale. In my experience they are about like GT's or JD's. I have had one that was a real turd. The one I have now is laid back. Should be good in a 180 though.

my texas goes my tems n oscar rarely....as soon as any of them fight back tho he cowars away, imo there pussy's to fish equal in size or larger...

I keep 5 with festae. Although the texans are bigger, they get bullied by the tiny festae. I have to say though, they are tough enough. They deal with bullies better than any other cichlid I've ever had.

Mine is fine with my Hartwegi, but they paired up. Versus some Nics, there was fighting. I would also say medium aggression.
