Texas Growth Rate

I have had a small Texas for a couple of months and he does not seem to have grown hardly at all. Are Texas' know for slow growth? Or are there some that just never get very big based on genetics.

He is in a 29 with a few cory cats. He eats well and is very active. The water parms are good with weekly water changes and 80 degree temp. I feed cut up worms, frozen brine shrimp, Omega One small pellets and flakes and New Life Spectrum 1mm.

Any advice?

Are you referring to a texas cichlid? If so, Yes they are slow growers, but are not timid eaters at all.

And this one doesn't seem to be timid about anything.
