Hello everyone.
I'm a 60 year old mother and grandmother from San Antoino.
A few weeks ago a friend gave me 2 pink cichlids and 3 zebras.
One of the pink ones disappeared for over a week, really!
Today it turns up, it's only a 10 gal tank!, kills two of the zebras and low and behold I have babies.
Not sure whose babies they are, but one of the pinks and one of the zebras are guarding them, while the other pink is hiding behind the castle.
I am familiar with fish basics, daddy raised fancy guppies and I have had oscars and severums and cichlids in the past.
Is is possible for the zebra and the pink to breed? I only ask because the pink and the zebra seem to be guarding the babies!
We are in a tizzy trying to find another tank, money is tite, but we will do whatever we can.
I am totally stoked over this!
Any input is appreciated.
