Bill - you can tell Irene that the only reason that you got those, is because I passed on them.

It was very tempting, but Mark couldn't provide any photos & I didn't feel like a 3 hr drive just to confirm what their quality was, or wasn't. Funny enough, I had a sense that your wife might be the runner up on that pair.
Good quality true festae aren't very common in these parts, but there probably isn't a
huge demand due to how large the males can get, and how aggressive both sexes can be. I know that Mark had that pair in a 90, but I would strongly recommend keeping them in a much larger tank, with lots of decore (as in escape routes) for them if/when they start breeding. And even then, have a divider handy in case either one of them becomes overly nasty towards their mate.
The bottom line is festae are not going to add anything desirable in a red texas strain, the males don't get red, and the females typically only get red hues when they are in breeding mode. You would lose pearling, and red, and probably gain vertical stripes. For the most part it would take away from your red texas, not add anything, other than size, and aggression.
