I have a pair of texas/synpilum and they have just laid eggs :D these are the parents

they do look just like Syn x Carpinte. Synspilus built and Carpintes patterns.

have they bred b4?

no this is the first time breeding so hope it all goes to plan, the fahter was a tex and mother a syn....... am just a bit guttd tha thy didnt take on any of her colours :(

Thats a completely different specie than what you have in your tank.

You have Herichthys cyanoguttatus, Not Carpintis x Synspilum.
They could be a Cyano cross, but its hard to tell from the pics in breeding colors.
 
they are deffo synxtex i know this for sure!
not bein horrible but am not really botherd what other ppl think they are because i know.

i now this because the father of the fish above was the spit of the pic
