Texas with a spot, is it a problem?

If you look carefully you can see a very white spot on my Texas, he's had it since I got him and the LFS said he had more of them but they slowly went away, is this anything to worry about and is there anything I can do about it, be interesting to just know what it is...
 
There appear's to be other's. But obviously you're speaking between the dorsal and the lateral line? Could possibly be a fungal infection, yet not alot can be determined from a picture. Quarrentine the fish until you achieve an accurate diagnosis.
 
Mine has the same spot. I my female con had it too but went away on its own keep water clean should go away
 
if im looking at the right bit, and there appears to be no others, then i would be looking for a cause as it looks like a perfect circle. diseases just arent that organised. maybe a burn off the heater possibly, something like that.
 
Hmmm it's a strange one, hope it's not lymphocystis, it did have lots of these spots before at the LFS and all but this one have disappeared, I will keep an eye on it and report back.
