Texas with bad lighting

I have a small desk lamp on this 40 breeder, so the lighting is god awful. but he or she is still a stunner.
ordered a 36" light, but the hurricane down here is delaying the order , soon young fish, you shall shine!

I agree, I ordered a dual fixture so i can do exactly that. This is the last of the fry I was growing out, hope this one ends up being male.

I hope you're wrong on the female part. this one grew the fastest so I assumed male.

How big is he/she? My male Texas is 7" and has a large nuchal hump and has nice trailers. My female texas on the other hand looks like yours.
