This is a pinkish growth that is coming from the back/base of the pectoral fin on the right side of the fish. My water parameters are fine, the filters are very well established. I just noticed this growth today. I didn't see it prior to today. The fish eats very aggressively, but I'm concerned with this being Lymphocystis. I don't want the rest of my fish to get this.

this is the best picture I could get of it

I had a Texas with lympho several years ago ... if it is lymphocystis, then you can try isolating the fish and treating with acriflavine ... lympho can definitely spread to other fish ... curing it is more problematic

What symptoms did your fish show? What did the spots look like? I'm unsure what to do with this fish as I don't have a tank to isolate it in. Lympho is said to be white, this is pinkish red. But that doesn't mean that it isn't Lympho.

as I recall, it was little pink nodules that appeared on their tail fins and pectoral fins ...

I found this link on-line (among many others) ... under description, it does say that lympho can be white or pinkish ...

Thank you very much for the info. After reading that, I'm pretty sure that's what this fish has. I hear stress brings it out, which this fish being a bit smaller has been chased a lot lately and hanging in the top corner of the tank unless food is put in the tank. I isolated it for now, gonna try and get a small tank from a friend for a few days till it's completely gone. But I don't see myself keeping this fish.... unless it goes away and doesn't come back.

my Texas was probably 2" long when I got him ... I kept him isolated in a 10G tank for about 3mos before I was satisfied he was ok ...
