I have a texas cichlid about 30 odd cms. He is in a 3ft tank with a pleco and a bristlenose, where he has been for a number of months until i renovate the rom where ill re setup my 6x2x2.5. He used to be in the big tank with a jag and red devil also and was constantly hassled to the point where he was underfed from stress and not being able to get the food. Since being placed in the smaller tank he has recovered well and has been doing great.
I.ve recently noticed his face has started to appear sunken in on his gill plates and upon more inspection he seems to be losing weight around his bump on his forehead and up his back. Ive researched it a bit and the only thing i can come up with is 'skinny disease'. does this sound about right? and what kind of treatments should i do?
Thanks
