Texas X Convict

This Project for me was was kind of just a test run of hybrids, most of the project got culled cause who wants a beefier convicts. I say most cause i did keep back aa few females if I want to back cross more to the Texas.

Still not entirely convinced these are Texas hybrids but if they are they are ridiculously convict dominant. As convict dominant a convict hybrid as they come. Like 95% convict.

that bottom photo i took out side was a female, I wish i had more pictures of my convict line i had at the time, All i have is a picture of the father/granpa/greatfather. Pretty much just took his daughters back to him readily for about 6ish generations then used one of those females.
 
Most of mine turned out female and forever to have their egg tube drop. Most of them were convict shape with light blue and lightly pearled. Odd about the males that did show, they had a slightly different body shape. I don't have any males now but I'll see if I got a picture. They all had an odd shaped forehead. I have some carpintis x convict fry now be interesting to see the difference

It seems like most anything that's bred with a convict ends up looking mostly like one. Seems to be the same case with salvinni hybrids as well. Most tend to look like a muddy salvinni.
