Okay so I've seen some post about this but all I've seen have dated back at least 4 years... I have a batch of Texas x Convict. Dad Texas mom convict. I've heard a bunch about their aggression and what they could look like. I'm just trying to see what to expect with these guys I already have experienced their aggression. I had a total of 142 in my 120g 48x24x24 then 3 days ago I woke up and immediately went to feed them like I do every morning and about 100 were killed (fins shredded and body's picked apart, they were the only fish in the tank other than 1 bristlenose). With the 40 or so I have left I moved most of them to my 400 gallon stock tank pond outside, I moved the 6 smallest ones into a 75 gallon. How do I define which are males and females? I can typically tell the difference between male and female on both Texas and Convict but these guys seems to be a bit different. I'll get some pics posted soon.
