Texas X Dovii?

just because theyre are both cichlids doesnt mean theyre are compatible. that like saying that africans and s/a cichlids could breed because they are cichlids.

alot of people think that

alot will mate together, but not all produce fry, maybe eggs, but that is usually as far as it gets.
 
i've kept jagXtex before, and jags and doviis are very closely related, so i don't see why not

they can produce offspring in fact i started a thread to see if what they look like when they mature i currently have between a 50 to 100 fry from a female texas and a male dovii hatched in april and are slow growersbut look cool so far
