Here are my two texas?

Can anyone tell me the sex of them. They were both bought at the same time but the one in the 1st picture is a good bit smaller.

Are these the normal green texas?

Both look female to me,Only thing i am basing that on is that they both look like my female,I could be wrong

The second one definately looks female. The first one could be a male, much longer fins than the second one.

I was thinking that they may be male and female but the one in the second picture that i think is female has grown twice as fast as the one in the first picture. The second one is very greedy though and is one of the first fish at the top of the tank waiting for me to drop in food.

The only reason i thought they were differant sexes is the body shape. The second one is so much deeper bodied than the one in the first picture. I'll try and get a picture of them together so that you can see the differance.


The one in the first picture seems to have larger but less spangles over its body too.

Does anyone esle think that they look like KKP x Texas without the red color morph?
They don't look like 100% Texas to me...

I would say both are females, very nice fish.
