Wasnt really sure where to post these guys but wanted to share a few pics of my Tin Foil Barbs. I have 5 in total and love watching them school around the tank. These guys make the best dithers for large mean fish IMO.

Hah,I was wondering what the letters meant but couldn't figure it.Nice barbs,Ive never had them but have heard they are good dithers...

Great looking tinfoils, I bought a few of the type of red tails without black stripes but returned them a few days later because they had the exact opposite effect I was going for. I was hoping to make my old dovii more territorial instead of patrolling the entire 240 but he barely even noticed them and started chasing my pacu for fun instead (wouldn't actually bite, just kept harrasing her like the tinfoils did to eachother). They were fun to watch tho, I only got 2 to start with and they acted like a pair of cichlids on crack but I bet they would be even more interesting in a school

Lol thanks

I loved my red tail tinfoil barbs but they grew far too big and ate far too much for dither fish imo. Great fish though.

They do get pretty dang big but they just make bigger targets for the Cichlids ;) and they are tuff as nails so i dont have to worry about them.

and your right they can really put the food away! Im surprised at the large pieces and amount of food they can eat.
