Well I spoke with Joe briefly about priority mail and their stuff on aquabid about $20 shipping. He had some jurupari and acaricthys heckelli (marked as geophagus heckelli) that were CHEAP.
I placed the order and they came in in great shape with breather bags and priority ship. 5 S. jurupari (leucostica actually) and 5 A. heckelli for $65 with shipping... thats $6.50 a fish for fish that I really cant even GET here and if I could they would be $15 - $20 each.
A lot has been said about their items being mismarked. This happens some- but they are a high-volume distribution operation, this occurs at all areas of the hobby, the information they are given is what they pass on. You pay more at the local store to look at the fish, an verify the identity... however on 99% of things they are correct or within reason. I mean, jurupari / leucostica is a common mislabel.
Overall great experience and completely as expected, with healthy fish that were well packaged with a very reasonable chance of survival.
