Does anyone know where I can get a Thai Bamboo Rat Snake for less than $600? I understand that they are an incredibly hard snake to keep alive in captivity, but I dont think I will have any problems because I've kept the moellendorff rat snake and the green mamba alive without any complications.

I think pro exotics has them...for less than $600 though not sure... they aren't to common in the hobby...
Awesome snakes though and I don't think as difficult as mambas....although mambas aren't really difficult either if provided the right stuff....

Thanks :) I'll check pro exotics site. I checked the guy on kingsnake.com and the description is too vauge for me but I'll email him and see if he's worth his salt.

i used to really want one of those after seeing one in a zoo and reading the caresheets. then i went to find one for sale...

only ones that I have seen less than $600 were fresh imports riddled with parasites and would not be worth it.

understandable snakeguy, i see the ones on Upscale Reptiles and theyre sold out at $600 a pop.. but there is a reptile show in manassas Va that I'm going to the 28th, i'm hoping that I'll find one, but I doubt it. lol
