Thai silk flowerhorn food?

Hey guys,

My first time to this forum. Last week I bought a Thai silk flowerhorn (light blue colour) he's about 3-4 inches. I was just wondering what food I should feed him. I'm currently feeding Hikari Sinking Cichlid Gold mini pellets. But I would like to feed a few different ones, I was told a mixture was best.

I was looking at:
- New Life Spectrumi Cichlasoma Formula
- JBL flowerhorn maxi

Any thoughts on these and also what I'm currently feeding?

One last thing, what do you suggest for treats?

Thai silks bloat easily in my experience. Pellets only! You can use hikari cichlid also. You should pre soak the pellets so they don't swell in the gut. Good luck!
