Thai Silk Laid eggs not white yet

This our pairs 1st time and the male seemed to have done his part yesterday swimming over them and hes now guarding them.
Only a couple of the eggs have turned light as of now. If they are still brown 24 hours later have they been fertilized?

Im pretty excited and I hope we come out with wigglers

They start out a light tan color then turn darker if they are fertilized. You will also see a tiny black dot forming on the eggs which would be the eyes. Should know after 24-48 hours if they are fertile depending on the tank temp.

Sounds good. Its 24 hours exactly and were still lookin good. Yay! Temp is 82-84

Well there they were. Dad ate them after a day and a half of guarding them. I have 1 wiggler so far from what we salvaged under the rocks. Next time no more rocks and we will pull them before bed or while were not watching and put them in another tank. Good learning experience. But the one wiggler hatched at 48 hours???? weird. The others should hatch today but its going to be very tough because I know we did not get all of the ones left over under the rocks and most of the ones we salvaged are white. There are maybe 3 more brown ones that havent hatched yet. I wonder why she did not ley them in the pot? oh well rocks are coming out after we know for sure there arent any wigglers in there. hopefully before vacation.
