If you cross back sister and brother they will be the same. You need to breed out into another line. Also with Texas and carpintis, the black spot on the dorsal fin goes both ways. Male and females can have it. Best is to vent them at proper size.
Why did you cross a Thai and Tex only to try to get back to Thai Silk? Shape, vigor?
If you want to get back to Thai silk, you can backcross the offspring back to the Thai silk parent. For instance, if the Thai silk was a male, you backcross his daughter.
If that doesn’t work, you may have to do the opposite and get a male offspring and outcross to a female Thai Silk.
It was an accidental cross and I sold the Thai Silk after that. But this female give me the chance to understand some of those genes that nobody talk about.
Now I know that the extended metalic blue is recessive and that white pearls are dominant and this got me thinking. I have acces to a male EBJD that I can cross with this female if some of the fry turn out blue its the same gene.
I don’t think the “male” is a good result imo but the other two, I really like the look. Say Wildcard is male. Take Wildcard, breed too top pic female (if it’s also really female). Those would be great selects for 2nd gen if they are opposite gender. And crossing brother and sister doesn’t mean they will turn out the same. Yes it will be similar result, but very capable of more refined and improved result and always opportunity for reselection. Lots of potential here
Thai silk is a pearl mutation not a color mutation. These fish are already there just grow them out to 8". You will find the pearls swelling and filling out the fish with size.
Crossing to ebjd would be a good way of making ugly long rat faced fish. It would be interesting to see how the silk pearl mutation interacts with the ebjd's "recessive" pearl mutation though.
