I was watching an episode of Hooked taking place on the Mekong River. They were in search of the giant freshwater stingray and they discussed its favorite food, the giant freshwater shrimp. I was wondering if anyone has any experience keeping these. What kind of set up works best, what to feed them and their availability. I've seen prawns for sale before but I don't think they were the same thing, but maybe I'm wrong.

You can try looking up the Malaysian prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii). I saw some people selling it on aquabid. Apparently it can get up to 12 inches long.
