How could I have even considered losing my Festae for some stupid ONLY Central American theme tank? Here's what I did. I put all the grown up cichlids along with the bichirs in the new tank with the Festae and put all the new TUIC babies in the smaller tank. So far everyone is getting along fine. It's a beautiful tank and I'm very happy with it and all the inhabitants. Now I need to finish the black background and I'll be all set. I'll just get a long roller and paint it when I get some time.

Thanks again to everyone who brought me back to my senses. Sometimes I get some :screwy: ideas.

Good choice Balton. Man that looks nice. I'd add another big pc of wood or 2 tho, but i like my tanks with lots of wood in em. :headbang2

wahaha :ROFL::ROFL:

yeah that looks great

where would we be without MFK? ;)

i'm starting to get into the large community of cichlids instead of keeping individual fish like i have been doing for a while. it's so much more interesting and you get to see their personalities and dynamics.
keep us posted!

:lol3: That's funny.

HeadRush, I'm looking for another big piece of driftwood so I can put one these back in my 156g. I'm justnot willing to pay thru the nose for it.

Mystix, I'm not sure I want to add plants...what would you suggest for more color. The tank actually looks great in person...much better than it photographs.

Thanks again MFK.
