I recently inherited a trio of peacock bass along with others and all they were feed were feeders every 3 days will not accept pellets or frozen and I had given up hope of breaking that trend untill today. Ive done some research on here and watched some videos on you tube and saw how others had their fish striking @ food so I changed up my.technique today and to my surprise my pbass fed or went after krill, pellets and shrimp I was like a proud daddy. They did spit it out but showed huge intrest this time around maybe I will starve em for a few days and try again and see what happens, because I just fed feeders yesterday. Now if only I can get my florida spotted gar on the same page. Im also not opposed to feeders, I just want an alternative, a healthy one @ that and less expensive.thanks again!

any pics to share? i'm a newbie too & this community is awesome...lots of experience keepers and useful write-ups. my 2 new pbass are now on market prawn meal,the same page as my arowana and polypterus endlicheri. lucky me...now, only to train them with pellets next.
