Id like to thank Nelson, (Molino) forthe ocellatus he sold to me!

They are doing great, eating, fighting  , and all are having fun!

Had to seperate a couple as they all went to the one shell area and moved a couple to the other area...

Well Nelson thanks alot and id love to stay in touch and possibly trade some more fish!

Garrett :-D

That's funny, I just sent you a PM a few minutes ago and see you just posted this tread. Anyway glad to hear they're doing well. They sure are fun to watch displaying to each other, trying to look intimidating. Hopefully you'll get one if not more mating pairs with the fish you have. Do you plan to try and breed them?

I sure do!...

They will hopefully breed and once i do get a pair or two i will forsure and inform you :D

I pmed you back btw!

They are really nice and the blue on them is fantastic!

Guess what Nelson!

The Ocellatus SPAWNED!

I watched them all night now i can see the eggs through the shell (they bred in one of the shells i through in there just because)

It was very interesting as the female actually picked out a shell she liked in the males territory and then started digging it out etc to make it to her specifications...

then finally the love started and the female stayed in the shell for a while with the male usually picking at her every so often...

The female now stays VERY close to the shell and the male protects them as well... although it was funny to see the female not letting the male into the shell past her lol....

Very cool and thanks for these VERY COOL FISH NELSON!

I need alot of tips on how to raise the fry as it was VERY HARD!

Thanks alot

Garrett
