thanksgiving dinner good but tv broke, NOOOO!

went to dinner at the inlaws which was great, BUT then i came home, turned on the TV, and it was broke! went from 52" to 13":cry::cry::cry:
typical projection tv problems, where the 3 colors go WAY outta whack.

Convergence isn't that tough to fix usually. Worst case scenario it's the convergence board, but it could just be knocked out of alignment.

the wierd thing is that the convergence adjustment isnt even in the menu now:screwy: and it was there before. hope it doesnt cost too much to fix, i'll go crazy staring at that 13"er

Sounds like it's the board. I have a catalog at work that sells stuff like that pretty cheap. I'll see if I can find it.

cool, im crafty with electronics so i can replace it if i get the board. i'll look into it online as well.
 
My HD is projection just because the technology is proven. LCD has a back light that burns out easily and plasma just doesn't live long.

If I had to buy another HDTV today it would be another projection. You can cry digital all you want, but all of us see analog:)
