I was removing some plants from a pond and discovered these, must of been from one laying last night. Surprising how many they can put off.

use to get softball size masses from the bull frogs in the pond. understood lots of medie, but still allot of eggs in it.

They compete with my fry and have a similar diet, so they have to go.....

lol my old pond during spring was honestly a frog mating ground, I remember in the spring the dock would flood and there would be a massive cloud of tadpoles covering the entire thing
These guys are Bufo marinus, the Cane Toad. They're actually some toxicity concerns around dogs etc.
Those things are causing issues in Australia unfortunately the dominated the environment and can only be removed by man as predator numbers have dropped by almost 90% in areas where they live.
Luckily monitors have been trained with relative success to avoid them by giving them small, less poisonous toads
