I know this is probably the wrong section, I didn't know where to post it, sorry.

Anyway, has anyone ever ordered from them? I've been to the actual store on vacation. It's a pretty nice place. However, I'm looking to order some Black Nasties (Nandopsis Haitiensis). I want legitimate ones, no hybrids, or closely crossed with something else.

Any idea if they're legit? Or is it another average fish store type thing?

I have been there several times and have orderd from them over the years but only dry goods.I stopped going there because their stock selection went way down the last few times I went.

I have bought a lot of fish there over the years. I noticed a change in quality, selection etc...not the same as it once was. There was a fish room manager change I think. In the past I saw they carried fish from Rapps, but don't think that is the case now. I could be wrong.
But since this change, I noticed mislabeled fish. For example their red flash thorichthys aureus is actually thorichthys maculipinnis. I bought what was labeled t. Mac/Ellioti and turned out to be a hybrid.
IMO I wouldn't order not only because of this, but what is on their website is not always what they have in stock.
I prefer to go to the store so I can see if it's the real deal. If I'M going to order, it would be from Rapps.

They are quickly becoming a big petsmart. Used to go religiously but I haven't gone in a while. They are good for driftwood and dry goods.

Order from Rapps, Wetspot, cichlids of the Americas, or snookn21. All are great.

Sad but backs up what I posted. They used to be anwe some place as far as stock....and I'm talking other animals besides fish.I still have not seen Tanganyican freshwater crabs anywhere else.I knew they were going down when I noticed the less knowlegable staff that they were bringing on.

The good news is that the local stores are improving. Scott started a shop in Feasterville that is a true hobbyist shop. Reed to Rift is the name. Memos is improving with John and Matt back in charge of the room. Aquarium Center is rock solid. And even Mknster Pets in S. philly has a hobbyist manager in the fish section. He can order for you what you want.

Okay,I kind of figured that after I posted my reply lol.So Nemos' has improved huh? They are another place that I stopped wasting time and gas going to and after I heard that Pets Plus/Natural Pet had bought them out I knew there was no looking back lol.
Reef to Rift sounds interesting and worth a look see.

You can see the Reef to Rift stock list on Facebook. Scott Mauer is the owner and feedback from there is great.

John is back at Nemo's and he is trying to revive the fishroom and Matt is putting the money into it to make it right. Still nothing like a shark aquarium or those NJ stores but better than before.
