Just curious if anyone has ever ordered fish from this site. The prices look pretty good and the selection is great. If you have, what did you think of the prices, shipping, quality of the fish, etc?

I actually go to the store in lancaster a lot and it's great. They are very dedicated to their customers and offer a wide variety of exotic and healthy fish. They also pack their fish bags better than anyone I have ever seen, even for walk-ins.

Hi I live in PA and drive to lancaster where that pet place that fish place is located, really good selection on saltwater fish, superb on new world and african cichlids,In my oppinion they are way overpriced for the fish they sell though, but as pelleeklund said they have good staff and package fish darn good.If you order from them just dont get the small size.Get atleast medium unless you want babies.

Just ordered a 48'' Coralife Aqualight and 48''x24'' class canopy earlier this week from them. Light came today and the canopy should be here by Wednesday.

I purchased a Polypterus Delhezi from them this past spring.
It was pretty pricey, Pennsylvania (if I remember correctly) to Illinois.
Shipping was around $40.00, but the fish arrived on time & in great shape.
I would buy from them again.

P.S. looks like your in Chicago, I would wait until the weather gets warmer to make an online purchase, just looking out for you.
It's been pretty darn cold here in Illinois this winter.

I have ordered live fish from them a few times (but not recently); everything arrived safe and sound, no worries, and quite healthy

what I liked in particular was they always have some bargain-priced fish, so last time I ordered I remember adding an unidentified "acara" species fish to the order, for like $1.99 . . . turned out to be one of my favorite fish

I've been ordering fish from them for 5 years. The packing is good, communication is good, and most important the fish arrive healthy. My BGK is from there, and my school of sids.

I live up the road from their - spent $1,000's @ that store, it's huge, like an aquatic zoo. If I ever buy another new world cichlid it will be from Jeff Rapps -Tangled Up In Cichlids. Honestly, their fish are quite expensive, small, riddled with parasites, and more often than not mis-labeled. Becase I do live so close I'm able to surf the ilses and actually see what I might be purchasing , the thought of ordering from them thru the mail to me is horrifing. One example - A Frog Mouth Catfish 3-4" @ $40 covered with califlower lookin' fungus, probably lymph, spining on it's nose tail to the sky. I got a Super and said hey your fish is pretty sick. I was told by the supervisor this was camoflague and the fish was fine. Sure it's camoflague, if this were the only inccident I wouldn't say a thing but unforunatley it's an almost daily occurance -Buyer Beware.
