THAT ONE PLECO YOU WOULD CHOOSE

I am ready to stock my new 220 and looking for input on which pleco I should choose. I have researched a lot and can't make up my mind. I am looking for very impressive looks but don't want one that gets too large. I can spend a couple hundred bucks if need be.

Also, where would you suggest purchasing your choice?

My all time favorites L330 L282 and L25:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
 
i love a big royal... to me they are just magnificient... also love my Adonis...
 
you'll probably have a hard time trying to find any of the L-24/ 25 or the L-330 something numbers.. Thier all offlimit from export from Brazil...

Try Snookn21, he's a vendor here on MFK.. and he is also on aquabid...
He has a lot of variety pleco available..

Personally, I like L-014, L-114 or L-191... L-190, L-200, L-128 are nice too...
 
You said you dont want one too large. What do you consider large? Even if you can find an L-25, it very well be more than a couple hundred and it will grow about 18". They are stunners though. That is the kind of fish you MAKE room for.lol If it has to stay around a foot or under I would say: L-007, L-029, L-018,L-014, L-048, L-191, L-075. There's more, but that's off the top of my head.
 
If eventual size doesn't matter get an albino adonis. For something smaller get a royal.
