I need to get monsters again!! I plan to move the turtle from the 40 long into a 10 and set up the 40 long as an aquarium. Yesterday I started off my collection again by getting a 3" shovelnose. I will keep a few younger futer monsters and grow them out until they are able to go into the cichlid 55. there will be a 125 for them in the summer. Ok, for the 40 long I'll place the lima shovelnose, get another young lima, then the store got in some 2" silver aros that look like they just finished there eggsacks a few days ago. they are very healty. Any other futer monsters that can fit in a 125 later?

I have been thinking about arowanas, clown knives, shovelnoses, and ropefish

Arowanas grow fast. He'll outgrow that tank in a few months. Hope you get the 125g fast. And even the 125 is too small for him too.

you need bigger than a 125 to house full grown aros so think about that before yuo go and buy new fish i say tanks should be atleast as wide as the fish is long and 3 times longer but i know most people cant afford a minimum of 9x3x2 but make sure yuor tank is atleast 6x3x2 please otherwise your aro will get cramped
my aros quickly outgrew their 110 and now i am making them a huge pond in my basement

Ok, I was also think about a 180 if a decent priced one turns up. that work? Also I found an accomadatible monster today. I managed to find a fat 5" common bicher for only $12, hes still floating in his bag in the cichlid tank
