My gouramis nibble away at these sinking algae discs that i put in for my golden algae eaters. I want to know if this stuff would be bad for my gouramis. They are the Aquarian brand sinking algae chips.

No

HA !!! We were typing at the same time again :D

A lot of fish need some vegetable matter in their diets, and gouramis are included in that. My gouramis will nibble on the romain lettuce i put in the tank mostly for the plecos, but all my fish will nibble on it.

Your worried about them eating them for now, but in the future it will be a pain in the arse when you have to drop a couple more in just for them otherwise the plecos will get none.

Get some romain lettuce leaves; the ones usually discarded, and stick them in the freezer after you wash them well. when they're frozen, put it in your fish tank for your grouamis and you can use the algae discs for your pleco.
