Thawing frozen stuff

So I bought some cyclops and I didn't know it would thaw into 8 billions little things.

Is it fine if I just cut the cube in half and let my 9inch red devil swallow the frozen halves whole?

He probably won't swallow it but grab it chew it up a little then repeat. When ever I give a frozen cube to a cichlid that's able to take the whole thing in its mouth it does that.

None of my fish ever showed any adverse effects. I used to just toss the cubes in without thawing and they'd go to town

at 9 inches i agree..but i would let thaw for 5-10 minutes just to soften a bit or buy some earth eaters

I let it thaw for 2 minutes and it turned into hundreds of little orange specs. I'm not sure if the fish will waste his time trying to eat them.
