Hello MFK!
I am hosting once again, and the rules have change.
No longer are you to grow your RTC to 2' in the shortest amount of time...Ohhhh, no. We are going to grow these bad boys out for a whole calander Year. That's right, a whole year of weekly documentation of RTC's growth.

This event will last from 2/11/2011-2/11/2012.

There are new rules, update guidelines, and even prizes for the winner, 2nd place, and 3rd place runners up!

I have designed this years entrants to be of a certain size, so that not one is to ahead of the other. As last years entries were all over the board.

Grand Prize (1st Place):
1x Red-Tailed Catfish (1.5-3")
1x Official Certificate Granting You Winner of the 2011-2012 RTC Growing COntest
1x Bag of Hikari Massivore Delight (Biggest bag)
and
1x MFK T-Shirt

First Runner-Up (2nd Place):
1x Bag of Hikari Massivore Delight (Small Bag)
and
1x MFK T-Shirt

Second Runner-Up (3rd Place):
1x MFk T-Shirt

Provided by Me, Kevin Bullis (diskboy12) at my own expense.

I hope this contest will show how large RTC's can get within the first year of life, and shed some more light on how to take care of these giants.

Correction on two items.

1.) The Contest dates will be from 2/12/2011-2/12/2012 not the 11th.

2.) You MUST include the current size of the RTC in your update.

This contest is for those who CAN house these monsters...nowheres did I say cram these into 55 gallons. It is for the dedicated aquarist, not for those hoping to score goods.
