The 90 gallon discus setup UPDATE

My pride and joy is the best way I can describe it. I transferred the fish over from the 55 gallon to the 90 gallon slowly and everything went well. I cut the shoal down from 12 to 10. And remove five of the clown loaches. I know how three and some cardinals that keep disappearing lol. The water test results are coming back perfect and some days I even do daily 25% water changes just because I have the time. Everything is stable and they are eating well. What do you guys think?

They are not as difficult to keep healthy as I originally thought. It seems to be mostly about stable water conditions. I’m in love with then now, my fiancé and I both!

What exactly does that mean? Nearly every pigeon blood I see even at Jack Watley has a light peppered appearance on their face. Mine has a little but I read it’s just natural color pushing through. Should I be concerned and about which fish?

Get a bunch of amazon swords. The fish will look even better. Change out the clown loach for less frisky bottom feeders like corydoras. Discus don't like speed freaks.

The fish and tank look absolutely beautiful! I particularly like the discus in the second picture.

The extra water changes are a great idea. Also, dwindling down the stock was a good idea.

These guys are basically the tangs/surgeonfish of freshwater aquariums. The colors are just stunning, are you planning on adding more decor in there?
