I know they are carnivorous. Beyond the Hikarki gold and NLS pellets I feed them, do I need anything more? I also use brine, bloodworm, mysis, or kill as a treat.

Yasuhikotakia modesta is the scientific name of the fish Im referring to. Also called "blue botia". It as many names, so I would like to be sure any responses reflect the correct fish.

Thank you again for your help

If anyone can give me a good answer, i'll mail them "A" brine shrimp from one of my frozen cubes. (you pay for shipping obv) I can't imagine an offer like this lasting very long. Time is of the essence!

NLS will be good. The treats are good too. Loaches aren't very picky at all.

would an increase in the quantity/frequency of the meaty treats be a benefit to them? compared to the amount you'd give Cichlids? since these are supposed to be "more" carnivorous in the wild
