Okay, from what I've read has contradicted in some ways.....

(Odoes are best kept alone or in pairs) yet

(I have a shoal of 5 Odoes)

What's the truth are they truely Shoal fish there whole life or mearly as juvies....Would one be happy in a 180gal on its own?
I just need the facts to this fish or in other words (nature) not (Human)
(IE:Bichir Pile=Human) (Solitary Bichir=Nature)

i do not now if they really have a solitary nature or not.
many other board members and myself have kept them in groups without problems.

MY experience-

BEST kept in groups.....

I had a group of 4. Lost 2 and the remaining 2 are VERY timid now. They are scared shiatless. Dart from things they never would have with the group of 4. I housed them with Dorado for a long time. Group of 4 wasn't even phased by them. Down to 2 I will soon be down to 1 as 1 has smashed into the tank so hard it's currently on it's way out. I KNOW this would not have happened with the group. They seem to find comfort in a group. No group= skittish and bash into the sides of the tank. The group was calm and composed.

He's still cheaper in the long run. Shipping ap to ap is $100. Everyone else charges at least $50 for them so in the long run Rich is still the cheapest.

I wish I would have gotten more myself..... :irked:

Check Aquascape, they may still have some small ones.

yo k rich i was going to order from fish room to today but i'm not sure if i want too yet i wanted some of those pink chalceus

So they're skittish alone but groups they're fine?
Does anyone know what they're natural life is like?
Would a 6"er work in a 75gal for 8months? or only a 180gal asap?

Which Stock list would suit it better (Thinking alone?)

180gal: Lap Bichir, Endli Bichir, Ornate Bichir, Syno Featherfin, Jewel Cichlids + Congo Tetras (excess fry-1")
75gal: Delhezi Bichir, Senegal Bichir, Leopard Ctenopoma, Congo Tetras, Brown Knife
