Hello everyone, I am currently working on a film in school called The Art of Acceptance. It's the story about a guy who comes home after his best friend dies and struggles through the stages of grief. He starts to see his best friend as an astronaut and tries to help him overcome his sorrows. I am sure everyone, whether it be themselves, or someone they know, have all at one point or another, dealt with depression. We can all relate to the main character one way or another.

We are currently running a kick-starter for our video. While donations are not at all necessary, and type of money helps. Even if you dont want to donate, just spreading the word around helps a lot.

I had my own issues with deppresion and I can definitely relate. It sounds like an interesting movie good luck on getting it going

I went to a wine tasting for a fellow classmate for the production of his short. I think he raised several grand by doing that. Something for you to look at - Hosting a fundraiser. I posted the link on my FB page. I'm connected to a couple of local actors, they might help spread the word. (By local, I mean here, lol)


.....And just because I have to ask....Who's writing the piece? Interested in a second look? I'm usually doing whatever I can to avoid my own homework so I'm more than happy to help with yours. :thumbsup:
 
Sorry for the late reply, we had to shut the kick starter down due to some issues. We are actually writing a proposal at the moment to submit to our instructor that would allow us to do a fundraiser.

As far as the story goes, its been written and tweaked several times. We shoot in 17 days.
