Hi guys,

As some of you probably know, there was a large aquascaping contest organized 2 weeks ago in Hannover, Germany, called "The Art of the Planted Aquarium". This contest is organized every year, during the zoological fair "Heimtiermesse". The quality of the aquascapes there is outstanding, and improving every year, so I visited this event, and did a lot of filming. Here are first three movies, showing tanks which took places 1-5:

I never had much luck with a planted aquarium....could never find a happy balance of plants, light, and CO2. My tank was sloppy at best...always wanted it to look like any one of those...
 
Yeah, I'm also more and more into setting up my own planted tank... :) But it will not be soon, I'm affraid - too much other stuff to do...

Anyway, here is the 4th part of the report from this year's The Art of The Planted Aquarium contest. My favourite aquascape is the tank no 27 - I like the harmony of colours of plants and rocks :)

i think the 3rd place and the 5th place are the best, 3rd place as my fav
