Now that it seems like any cold spell is over, I woke up Mbenga from his hibernation. Now I'll need to get food for him tomorrow. Here's some pics of him doing his 7 month hibernation stretch, lol!

Yup.
He went into hibernation and actually had a cocoon-like membrane during hibernation. He probably would've still been in hibernation mode unless he's woken up by me. For hibernation preparations, I fill his enclosure with coconut fiber so he can bury himself a bit. When it comes time to wake him up, I usually pour water on him and start filling up the enclosure with water and he'll try to peel off the membrane. I usually have to assist with that too. It's like a thin sheet of plastic when it dries out.
He was kind of forced on me, lol! My roommate was moving and didn't have very much room at his new place, so he asked if it was cool for him to leave the frog and he'll still pay for food and whatnot. Eventually, it just became mine as he couldn't keep up his end of the bargain, lol!
