the best feeders?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think rosies, mosquito fish and platys, but only once a month max.
feeding pellets, prawn shrimp and worms is way better IMO.

always quarentine

Avoid goldfish

yah that's some good advice. unfortunately i don't know how to quarantine. are white cloud minnows ok? i wanted to get rosies because their only 10 cents each!! however i heard theirs a greater chance of parasites in the rosies and again i dont know the quarantine process

breed your own, convicts would probably be good too

For them I would go with earthworms. I breed feeders and I got cherry shrimp and snails. Next month I am gonna start breeding earthworms. No feeder fish at all. Plus feeder fish are faster and may take your fish time and energy to catch them, they can catch a shrimp and worm alot easier.

Weather loaches but ay too expensive as a feeders. Try some baby cichlids. I feed mine Midas cichlids, but I;m out right now. Make sure to quarantine first.

where do u get ur midas chichlids from???

how long do quarantine them for and what size is the quarantine tank???

do use Prazi pro or METRO+ or any other meds???

to breed convicts all u need to is put them in a 20 gal and put some gravel for them to dig and like 2 rocks and a empty flower pot with some fake plants..... and just to let u know they are like rabbits........ ull have like 100+ cons really really fast......
