It's a healthy one for sure.. he ate actual bait minnows whole that I got for fishing and put in the tank to hold. Does better on feeder minnow that are smaller though.
I'm probably going to do a small pond setup and grow guppies for him here soon.
The man wants a couple more but I have to keep them in the same size range for him. He is a new bichir addict

You can always get a growout going. I'm thinking it'd grow like mad on feeders, I'm giving mine cockroaches.
And yes, they are addictive like potato chips: you can't stop at 1
