This storm here on the East Coast, Hurricane Sandy and last nights snow fall combined to make it too diffacult to keep the water warm enough in the house. I lost power on October 29th and have been doing water changes since then. Power is still not back on as of today (10 days). We are staying with friends but I go to the house every day. I thought he was sitting in the corner but when I looked with the flashlite he was gone.

Sorry big guy I guess I didn't do enough for you. You'll be missed.

Wow that sux. I was doing 4-6 warm water changes on my piranha tank. Luckily they survived but were beat up. Was out power for a weak. Now I have to deal w a mini cycle
