Wow! This is the very reason we all should do research prior to purchasing any specie of fish. This is a happy ending for the Pacu.

I seen this the other day. Glad they got it. That had to be one of if not the worst case I’ve ever seen of a fish being kept in too small a tank. That had to have been a miserable life.
Glad she can at least swim now.

A lfs near by took in a 2' gar that was living in a 75g. The fish had learned to flip itself over to change direction. A neighbor of the guy took it when the guy lost the house. At least thats the story they told me. They had it in a kiddie pool for the time being. They didnt have a good tank to put it in atm. Its snout was torn up not sure why but other then that it looked healthy. I told them to call OFH. The lfs is a little sketchy so my guess is they will try selling it.
