thanks for info!Ich is one of those strange diseases. It’s always present in your water and if or how a fish is infected is hugely variable based on many factors. One of the most interesting points being that an unstressed fish, in recovery itself and “happy” can itself with no help fend off reinfection from even a bad coating.
Let’s hope your fish is happy and in recovery and will do this too, however the addition of a bit of tonic salt, or alternatively (preferably) malachite green or methelyne blue and heat to speed up the life cycle of the Protozoa will obviously improve chances.
