The coolest Oscar video!!!! Amazing.

I don't know if anyone here knows about Oscar genetics, but Brick was in a tank of siblings when I got him, 50-60. Two thirds of them were reds and tigers, all very dark and intense in color. The remaining third were lutinos and a few 'peach' colored babies. In the last few months Brick is showing individual white scales overlapped by a black 'pepper' pattern. They photograph pale orange but are really white. It makes me wonder if one of his parents is lutino.

My favorite parts are Mom making sure the babies get their food, Dad herding them at the end, and the babies just bouncing off of both like pin balls!
*crazy kids!!*

Great looking pair. Mom's pattern looks like stacked bricks on her sides. Her finnage is outstanding!

Oscars are such under-rated fish; if they were uncommon/expensive/difficult-to-breed they would be one of the hottest commodities in the aquarium hobby. But they're common and dirt-cheap, so people forget just how cool they are. :')
